Conservatives don't believe much in market forces either.

That's why they spend so much time trying to find ways to get around them. Competing in a free market is for mom-and-pop shops, small-time libertarian chumps, and Ayn Rand groupies. The big boys go for the fix every time, they game the System. And the ones who can't are losers.

Why do you think they offer college degrees in marketing? It's to teach you ways to get around free markets by showing you how to manipulate them. The next thing you'll try to tell us is the way to make money is to buy cheap, sell dear, and to work real hard at making the best product you can as cheap as you can make it. That's about as realistic as "from each according to his ability, to each according to his need."

The real way to make money is to not make anything, sell anything, or employ anyone. The key is to control the ebb and flow of finance capital and to take your cut right off the top without having to produce anything. And when your greed finally catches up with you and you screw up, you blame whoever's convenient and move on to some other business, or industry, or economy, or country and do it all over again.
