A couple o' quick links

Here are two good sources to get an idea of the Uranium mining perspective:

Uraniumseek.com This one is more geared towards the investor in Uranium mining stocks, but they have a good list of current articles and editorials

The Ux Consulting Company, LLC is a good site with lots of information.

The Pricing of Uranium is rather complex, as is discussed here. Recently, the price has been as high as $120/lbs, but has since retreated to $55 /lbs. Some of that price spike was related to the flooding of the Cigar Lake deposit, which was in the developmental stage of mining. I've not seen any updates lately on the status of this big mine. I've shares in Cameco Corp, which is one of the biggest Uranium mining firms and the operators of the Cigar Lake Mine. Overall I've about a 4% gain right now, but I'm holding for the longterm with this position. I don't invest in Uranium Juniors right now, too risky and I don't have the time to do the research.

Sorry, Arrell, that doesn't directly address your question about the longterm reserve situation, but hopefully the links will help. I'll look into this some more when I have the chance, but right now I've got to go back to the gold hunt.

PS: good work on the article. Do you have a way of making a pdf?
