I'm watching this stuff happen every damn day in Congress, the halls of the U.N., and many other places. I'm seeing proposals for industrial taxes, windfall taxes, and gas taxes. I'm seeing proposals for controls, restrictions on lights, cars, water use, you name it. I'm seeing workable solutions to energy supply tossed aside in favor of the "pie in the sky" energy sources promised us--after we submit ourselves to these economy-crushing proposals, of course.
This is a "conspiracy" like conservatives being anti-abortion or liberals being anti-war is a "conspiracy." The positions of people like Nancy Pelosi and other Democratic leaders are there for everybody to see.
This is what's going on, right in front of you. This isn't a secret, and it doesn't require secret knowledge to know what's happening.
Wake up. You're not talking to Lindy, here.
Or is it that you just can't stand the idea of your beloved Democrats being the problem and not the solution?
Current Events » in reply to "They want the Procrustean approach, which is to saw off parts of the Western economy until it matches their long-standing ideal of a "limited" society..."
Where the hell do you get "conspiracy?"
