I Worry

Iâ€™m looking forward to an Obama win in November and the start of withdrawals from Iraq shortly after that. Then I read this article in Salon about the 106 bases we have built all across that country and I begin to think that even Obama with a full set of Democratic Senators and representatives behind him may be OTBE and that the Republicans mantra of 100 years or more may be realized no matter what we the people do or want.

Does anyone think Obama will have the strength to stand up to the entrenched needs and wants or our military industrial complex?

I worry.
