You can throw loons at me until the cows come home.

It doesn't prove anything to quote dozens of newspaper articles written in real time based, for obvious reasons, on rumors, guesses, hearsay, and what could charitably be expressed as "incomplete information."

The Congress did a complete investigation of this entire thing long after the fact, when the information was gathered and far more complete. You can read the reports if you like. Naturally, those who were looking for dirt dismissed this immediately as part of the Larger Conspiracy.

There are many websites like the ones you link, all revealing the "Great Secrets" of reality on things like 9/11 Truth, military secrets, cabals of secret rulers of the Earth, Reptile People, bases on the Moon, you name it.

Almost all are characterized by a terrifying density of information, scrolling on and on, with hundreds of links each, that would take years to refute item by item, and must have taken years to painstakingly collect and organize.

I often wonder what these people did before the internet, and I visualize entire rooms papered with clippings, thousands of pins connecting thousands of pieces of yarn from one reference to the next...

Again, why does these people like this site author want so badly for this to be true? What does he imagine will happen to his life if he succeeds? If suddenly the great Illuminati throw off all pretense, and the mind-shredding projectors begin rising from silos across the planet? Is there a kind of brain for which "I TOLD YOU SO!!" is the ultimate goal, the final mental orgasm?

Or does he visualize some equally imaginary heroes coming from nowhere to save the day? That suddenly his life will have meaning given to it from beyond reality?

Psychologically, UFOs, and crop circles (assumed to be the work of some higher intelligence) seem to fill this "hero" niche. We are watched from above, or below, or from parallel dimensions, and surely when things get bad enough, the Space Brothers will save us all!

The psychological similarity to religions and religious apocalyptics through history is no coincidence. Most apocalyptics seem to be misfits and other people who have a lot of trouble with the real world.
