neither Palin or Edwards are that great in the looks department. For politicians perhaps, but that is like being the only person with a nose in a leper colony - your beauty is the result of stark contrasts.

A Palin Edwards conflict would be less stark and Palin certainly would've had less Press hype going into this. All the criticism of Palin and focus on her inexperience only made her look that much better when she holds her own and, in fact, disarms a 35 year veteran of DC politics.

The media love the money. If the nation becomes so poor folks can't afford electricity or buy products from advertisers they lose. So they subconsciously defeat Democrats by so blatantly supporting them.

Hyping up this debate was simply good business. They have made billions more this year from advertisers than they did in 2004. This election cycle has been a year long Christmas for the networks.

They don't care who wins.
