Biden was in a very tight corner
All he had to do was one slip up where he seemed to be putting down
Palin because she's a woman and it would have been all over for him.
I think Biden was rather noble considering he's an experienced veteran
of politics who found himself against a novice who would never have
been where she is now if McCain hadn't pulled her out of a hat.
And yes she did get "cutsey" a bit too often. Imagine the reaction if
Biden had tried something like that. He had to remain the adult.
But unlike 20 years ago, no "You're no Kennedy" moment. Though
Palin did try it with a There you go again Joe bit, but it came across
really awkward.
