With the Democrats in control of both the House and Senate, McCain would not be able to get anything accomplished. All of his plans would be in gridlock and stalemates. Of course, he would get the blame for four years of nothing accomplished, and the Republicans would have no chance in 2012.
So now the Democrats get control of all 3 branches. I hope they know what they are doing. They have made a lot of promises. The public’s expectations are high. I hope they can deliver, or the public will crucify them come 2012.
So I am kind of glad McCain is going to loose. The Republicans need to spend the next four years rebuilding their party. They need to bring back real conservative values. The Republican Party needs to find its conservative roots and adhere to it.
