My second car was a used 1963 Rover, acquired in 1971 and fully outfitted with Lucas electronics. I have fond memories of headlights suddenly not working and fan switches turning on the cabin lights. The quantum uncertainty of the vehicle electronics was one of its most endearing qualities.
