What's happening in China.
Charter 08
When looking at history, it has been obvious to the dimmest intelligence that the prosperity of nations have been directly proportional to their economic freedom. The more an economy is centralized, the deeper the hellhole the country has become.
China is touted as a "new model" by starry-eyed collectivists, but don't seem to notice that China largely earns its wealth building things others have created.
"The only way the dream will be realized for the majority of people is if the government provides medical care, education, mass transit, water, clean air and basic housing at no or a minimal cost."
And in a nation where the rich and the wealth creators are no longer wanted, who pays for that? On the other hand, I know Bowser isn't stupid, and I expect this statement was just to get a rise out of someone.
