Take a big dog away from a family. Take it to a caged kennel, poke it, jab it, hit it for 6 years, and take it back to the family. Expect it to be kind.
Barge into a household, rape a younger woman, kill the entire family including the rapee. Expect the neighbors to love you.
Take over a notorious prison, one of the reasons to free the Iraqis from Saddam. Invade houses at night, round up all males of a certain age, put them into the prison and torture them. Expect them to love you.
Catch a farmer whose neighbor says is a "terrorist". Give the neighbor a reward and the farmer's fields. Fly that farmer to Eastern Europe and the Middle East, and finally Guantanamo torturing him at every stop. Expect that farmer and his friends and family to love you before you release him.
Do the above a few hundred thousand times. Maybe half a million. Only a Conservative would expect to be loved because their stated intentions were great. Not their real intentions, which were greed and power driven.
The US is not safer for all of the Bush-Cheney, Conservative cruelties, is it? It's taken you a long time to understand that.
