There's some amazing resources in planetary science available on the web.

I'd recommend APOD - astronomy picture of the day
Bill Arnett's Nine Planets (scratched to eight, these days) http://www.nineplanets.org/
The USGS Astrogeology group
The LPSC abstractsare always really cutting-edge, but you need some context to understand what they MEAN.
