Part of the reason

people get creative in trying to understand your motivation is that you simply don't make sense. It's as if you're working against your best interest. A person of subpar intelligence we could understand, but it's like you're able to simply block out huge swatches of the big picture and still assert there's some overwhelming cosmic truth to the little snippets of stuff you put out.

Reasonable people that seem to have normal well-adjusted families all have mastered the art of compromise and I gotta tell you Tom, on here you're like a bull in a china shop with your never give an inch attitude.

It all stinks of some major agenda other than simply philosophical differences. Those we'd understand. It's why we can talk with other conservatives on here about things and not blow a gasket (and I'm not talking about Lee or Techie. They aren't conservatives. They're space aliens.).

From what you've told us, you're a middle class American that's basically greatly underemployed right now. I would guess the tax breaks the Obama administration would directly benefit your family. Were it not for your wife's work in the health care industry, you'd be struggling to keep up health and retirement benefits. You'd think a universal plan would be a relief to you knowing you and your loved ones would be covered if worst case scenario hit you and that potential employers wouldn't be burdened with those costs. You're living in a state that experienced rolling blackouts last year that have been pinned down to fraudulent manipulations by energy firms. In your work with government and private contractors you must have run across truly despicable managers and CEO's who's greed was unmatched that were rewarded with huge sums of money and power while you had ten times the expertise.

I assume your children attended public schools. Why you wouldn't feel a kinship to those educators and their enormous burden and sacrifice is beyond me.

So just maybe you can understand why to us your unyielding and uncompromising philosophy doesn't fit the person you say you are. We get conservatism but ranting paranoid ideologue hiding under the bed from the impending communist takeover is a bit weird for people with an intellect above that of Chuck Norris.
