You think I don't know that reading my posts is like getting teeth pulled with no anaesthetic to soften the pain?
That's why I put the important things in bold face print. So skimmers can get the jist in about ten seconds.
And it doesn't really matter to me if you read it or not. I don't get any bennies for folks taking the time to read my posts. If someone does read it...hey, great, whoop-de-doo.
After this many years, I've learned not to equate quantity of readership with quality content, a check of the webs most popular sites clearly reveals the reverse is true - the more stupid something is, the greater its appeal and popularity. Striving for content for the lowest common denominator is for those who want revenues for advertisng clicks.
So, you, and others, not reading my posts comes naturally in this rarified territory.
I don't lose a thing. I benefit only by writing it.
If you did read it, my comments shouldn't have ticked you off. They still were applicable for the many who haven't read it and said they did. Like War and Peace Atlas Shrugged is no afternoon read and many claim to have read it, when they haven't. As Mark Twain commented so nicely, a classic is a book everyone praises and no one has read.
;-)
PS
Obama is in office! CHANGE is here! Bush is "disgraced!" Why aren't you happier?
Isn't that what happens to most of my posts?
