because I've spent time in an American Legion before. I never will again. No matter how heroic these old codgers might have been during their prime, American Legion today is made up of old drunks trying to relive their glory days by telling old war stories amid way too much cigarette smoke.

What's next? Will you be quoting the French Foreign Legion? Maybe you should look for quotes from the Elks Club or the local VFW.
