I don't expect you to have the same knowledge that I have, just a stronger opinion based on less experience. I've spent 35 years studying the subject, reading books, following up on case studies, interviewing witnesses, talking to doctors, scientists and engineers who've been involved in the project. Looking at "evidence" you probably would never see.
And what's your experience? How many of those things have you done and for how many years?
When you dismiss Edgar Mitchell as just "anyone", I can see your point. But you haven't listened to the 40 or so witnesses giving live testimony for instance for the Disclosure Project. None of these men are motivated by money, or public exposure. As a matter of fact, they stand to lose their clearances and pensions. They are mostly from the military, scientific or FAA professions.
>"A person's profession, .... in no way gives them any more credibility than any other human being on any subject."
Do you really belive what you just said? Are you basically saying that a bus driver knows as much about brain surgery as a brain surgeon? Or are you just speaking about the ufo subject, which you dismiss as just fantasy? I think a credible eye witness with documentation to back up his position has a LOT more credibility than you do (for instance) on the subject. I just don't get where you're going with this. You're being flip AND dismissive.
>"I think what sets off your detractors here is .... an "I told you so" component to your posts."
Look who's talking!
I bring up the topic to engage your thought processes, to get you to think outside the box. I don't really care if anyone believes me. But like any other maligned or hidden piece of news, it serves it's purpose out there in the open. As for the Kennedy assassination; do you know how much WORK an investigative reporter has to assemble, sift through and compile, along WITH a new theory and new "evidence", PLUS find a publisher? That has very little profit incentive compared to the massive amount of work to do it. A feat that takes years.
I really think you should think that one through, along with the bus driver and brain surgeon.
