I do want to know one thing

How is a group of humans - no matter how much political power they
may have in this society - able to suppress beings from other worlds
and/or dimensions that are apparently far in advance of us and also
much more powerful?

I am not part of the oppression conspiracy, though maybe I just don't
know it yet and that is how subtle and powerful THEY are.

Maybe everything is a lie, a veil I cannot see through and kept in place
by force I cannot control or stop. Therefore, what good does any of
this due me and everyone else? I am not Neo, I'm afraid.
