"Monopoly" on power? Yeah, nobody but Republicans and business owners in this country has ever wielded any kind of political power for the past fifty years. Don't you think things would be a bit different right now if the people on your corporate enemies list actually DID have a monopoly on power?

I used the term "activists" above to cover everyone from environmental goons to corporate goons. The mention of bribes and lobbying should have made that obvious. It's anybody who wants to use the government's power to further their own ends at the expense of others, eliminating any normal market and legal controls on such things.
Nobody who has actually read my posts could ever believe I don't consider business use of government power to be a big part of the problem.
