I can understand Jody. I have been taught to "play by the rules" too; and am completely self-sufficient.
The greed and dishonesty of certain corporate businesses and their owners has been aired out like dirty laundry for all to see, and even though the feeding frenzy is not over, I DO believe that each and every one of those corporate robbers is having some personal feedback from their actions towards others, whether it be through dissolution of their personal friendships, property or entitlements. Karma, so to speak.
I think they are having to pay somehow in other aspects of their lives.
There is some type of conscious shift that is happening that is affecting even the most dense among us. Perhaps it's the conscience of modern technology. If they can read, perhaps they are feeling SOME guilt over their actions. And (even people like Dick Cheney); no matter how hard they try to cover up or protect themselves from culpability; it ends up right back in their face through actions of others.
