I went to bed last night with your post resonating in my head. I slept on it...thought about it. I feel it is who I am deep down to my toes...the *do it yourself* kind of person. So my thought processes, my perspective is from that mindset. I try very hard at trying to understand other perspectives...but when the rubber meets the road I always go back to *my bottom line*.
It is all any of us can really know...
Back to accountability and the Republican party...damn straight they need to step up to the plate, own up and learn to play well with others...I expect no less from every single one of us.
Republicans...Democrats too...I wish there was a better way to run the country...but there isn't. At least I can hold my head high and say [..no...scream...] "HEY MOTHER FUCKERS..I PLAY BY THE RULES!!! Why can't you??????????"
I could let it eat a hole in my heart...and I suspect there is some damage...that is what getting older is about...
