And I do consider myself as much an expert on UFOs as anyone else
who claims to be. I have been studying the subject since the 1960s,
and I have the drawings and publications to prove it.
Lindy says:
"Nancy interviewed the Polish witness and she believed him. He was quite simple. She thought it was charming how his drawings were culturally out of time, like from the 50's...but he lives out in the country with no access to computers or cable TV, so his life is so much simpler."
My take on this guy is that he not some kind of malicious hoaxer or
anything like that. Instead he sounds like someone who lives a very
basic life in the middle of virtually nowhere and has reached an age
where he is looking back and asking himself what has he accomplished.
He may also be asking himself if there will ever be anything more to his life.
Now since he grew up in Poland when it was under communist rule and
therefore officially atheist, he probably does not have a deep religious
background to fall upon, which would normally be Roman Catholic in his case.
Even if he is religious, the Church is not a place for exotic and exciting events
outside of a few very official and very unbendable tenants. God does not
interact with just anyone, ya know. Even the vast majority of the saints all
came from rich and prominent families (go look up their bios if you don’t believe
me) before becoming meek, humble, and poor, so there is no place for a man
who has been poor, simple laborer all his life to go except to church once a
week, like everyone else.
So where does our Eastern European friend turn to for a chance at something
exciting to literally come in his life and take him away from the mundane routine
of every day living? UFOs! They happen to ordinary people all the time! In
fact, the majority of people who report UFO encounters are everyday working
Joes(kis) like him, so why shouldn’t he have a shot at being visited by beings
from another world too to spice things up a little?
Now our friend here, being a "simple" type as described by UFO expert Nancy,
probably has not kept up with the latest trends in close encounters of the third
or fourth kind, so he goes back to the reports he may have heard from his
childhood., the ones where an alien craft is seen either on or near a road and
beings in exotic spacesuits get out of it and approach the person, who is usually
in a vehicle of their own. Often they are unable to move by some means from
the beings, who then tend to communicate with their human audience telepathically.
Sometimes they just ask questions that any curious explorer to a new place would
ask, but they also tend to throw in a few helpful messages to persuade the lower
beings to get out of the jams their societies are now in.
Back in the Cold War days, it was usually “Stop making nuclear bombs before somebody
pokes an eye out,†but nowadays the environment is much trendier, thus our Polish
friend being told that his species has to stop ruining the planet (Did these beings see
the reimaged The Day the Earth Stood Still? It was beamed into space with the blessing
of the film studio, so who knows? Hope they didn’t get any ideas, though!).
Of course the most exciting thing about all this is that members of his species start
paying attention to him, making him feel special and worthy for a change, perhaps for
the first time in his life. He may even start believing the story and events himself after
a while. He may also think that even if what he did was less than truthful, some greater
good for all of humankind might come out of it. If nothing else happens, he and his
encounter will now be added to the records of big UFO events for all time.
Am I any more wrong or right than what those who have investigated his story have said?
Mine at least has plausibility and Occam’s Razor on its side, and note I am not putting down
this fellow; in fact, in certain ways I can even sympathize with him. I
just hope he does not come to regret his story as some UFO reporters
have, like the one from famous Incident at Exeter (New Hampshire) in
1965. In later years he did not enjoy the negative publicity his story
garnered and he said he wished he had never said anything to begin with.
Lindy then says:
"And again we discussed the nature of consciousness and the electrical impulses in our brains that interconnect with the electromagnetism of the earth, and how those pre-disposed paragnosts hook into an alternate timeline often with very personalized experiences."
I have noticed this trend from you lately that when people start asking
detailed questions on this subject that you suddenly deflect to the
equivalent of it's all in the person's perspective or who knows why
interdimensional beings act the way they do? If it is all in someone's
mind or caused by strange beings who don't even live in our reality,
what are we supposed to do with that? We puny humans do need some
way and method of being able to grab hold and measure such things,
whether you like it or not. Otherwise these might as well be fantasies.
