"What are we supposed to do with that? "

Thank you for your well thought out and spoken thesis on this case.
You have gone from being a serious SETI researcher, to a ufo buff to a practicing psychologist.

What you completely ignore is the TRACE CASE, of the swirled and burned pieces of grass where this "ufo" apparently landed and took off from. How do you explain that?

You are trying to say this poor fellow created that too?

>I have noticed this trend from you..... when people start asking detailed questions on this subject that you suddenly deflect to the equivalent of it's all in the person's perspective."

We SUBJECTIVELY have to listen to them and try and figure out what "space" they were in when the event occured. If it's only one individual, it's easier to dismiss. Especially if there is no physical effects that can be photographed, monitored or analysed. This case (for you at least) is just some type of wishful thinking. He went to the police after thinking about it some more (that in itself is rather bizarre wishful thinking.)

>"who knows why interdimensional beings act the way they do? If it is all in someone's
mind or caused by strange beings who don't even live in our reality, what are we supposed to do with that?"

And that in there.....lies the rub. It doesn't frustrate me like it does you.
I'll go back to the time/space/interdimensional thing every time. It may, or may not have anything to do with that....maybe "they" have advanced technology that just looks impossible to us. Maybe "they" have to alter "time" when around us with some new fandangled eltromagnetometer that allows us to see or communicate with them.

I DON"T KNOW. I think you look too hard into the nuts and bolts of this phenomena looking for a real live alien, and I'm not so sure you're going to find one. I've been looking longer than you have, and have my doubts as well. But the study of it, IS fascinating.

One of my research associates has written a book that entails the whole enchilada.
You can't separate psi from the events. They are interwoven. You can get this book new or used from Amazon: "Ufo-Dynamics: Psychiatric and Psychic Dimensions of the Ufo Syndrome" by Dr. Berthold Schwarz.

He has studied and interviewed the greatest psychics, mediums and ufo contactees and experiencers from the past 6 decades or so. Some he has studied clinically.

One review states pretty much what I've been leading you to:

>"Many ufologists think parapsychology is irrelevant to UFOs...after all they already *know* that they are "nuts and bolts" spacecraft piloted by "flesh and blood" EBE's.
Like or not, poltergeist phenomena, Bigfoot, apparitions, stigmata, intrude upon ufo encounters like night follows day. Skeptics highlight them and say "see, UFOs lead to all sorts of nonsense therefore *they* are nonsensical."
Schwarz grasps the nettle firmly and tries to understand the vast spectrum of paranormal experience of which UFOs are only one part. He may not have many answers, but he's asking some new questions. "

I suggest you add it to your reading list.
