it does not make any money for you unless you can get them manufactured and sold.
I made prototypes that demonstrated the function of the device but I was unable to find anyone interested in manufacturing them.
It takes a lot of money and specialised equipment to manufacture computer logic circuits.
But I still have several ideas that I might make into the proof of concept stage before abandoning them.
