Well, the atrocities continue to mount...
This is more about Netanyahu's political survival than defeating Hamas. His actions have reduced Israeli long-term security. But, by committing war crimes and genocide while restricting the information on these crimes from the Israeli population he has created a narrative to sell to his people that it's Israel against the world... and portray himself as the strong-man Israel needs to stand alone against the world.
The atrocities are not accidental, they are part of his strategy to outrage even his allies.
