I have been a big fan of the "Myst" series, but haven't had the time to concentrate on such games so I'm still waiting to finish Myst 4 and 5. I like watching my son play XBox stuff, although the spinning movement of the scenery can sometimes make me a bit green.

The only first-person shooter I've played myself was the original Star Wars "Dark Forces" game, many moons ago. Interestingly, the coding on the game is apparently so simple that a small subculture was making their own game levels and posting them to Dark Forces users (you still needed the original game to make them work). One popular gimmick was superimposing a different image onto the battle code for a particular enemy character. The result could be an Ewok with the killing power of a Krayt Dragon.
