Gravity variations?

I can't speak with authority on this area. I was relating information given on the program. I assumed that gravity is the same everywhere on Earth and so, when one scientist said that gravity in the Bermuda Triangle is 3% less, I took notice.

Unfortunately, I came into the program about 1/2 way but yes, one scientist did think it might be a black hole. Personally, I thought he was full of it. It was interesting, nonetheless, and my imagination took off. I figured you guys would have some good information on validating or invalidating the thesis.
