Yellow History
The History Channel used to be quite good, I remember when they used to do PBS-quality specials like Dennis Sciama's History of Britain, and the Bettany Hughes specials on ancient Greece, but now they pump out crapola like History of the Antichrist and Nostradamus' latest book. I actually watched both of these today, back-to-back, in slack-jawed amazement.
Remember when they used to tell us how pay TV would be such an improvement in program quality, and how there would be no commercials? They lied. Even picture quality sucks, what with pixellation and dropouts. The bad always seems to drive out the good.
