Our IT person sent out an e-mail this afternoon with this message: "It seems there has been a few viruses spreading through Facebook and here is one way it happens.
You go to an application on Facebook and it ask you to update your Flash Player. You click and you are infected. Another exploit is what appears to be a window saying PC Defender and virus detected. It actually looks as though a scan is being run on your computer by Microsoft Windows Defender and you have an assortment of options to click.
If the PC Defender window appears, please do a control alt delete (hold down the cntrl alt and del keys) choose Task List and end all Internet Explorer windows in the Task Manager under the tab Applications."
I don't do Facebook.
