I'm sure it was Dell. Their sales tactics and I knew what they were trying to sell me. If you can't make your monthly payment, they'll make it for you for the lowly sum of $10 on the $100 you currently carry or some such variation. I have a balance on their account now because I just bought something (an external HD) but it'll be cleared after I get their statement. However, they don't know that so they thought they'd just up my balance a bit more with a bunch of insurance I don't need. Dell uses fairly high pressure sales tactics and I detest that and get extremely resistant. The last time I was looking for a car, I went onto the Toyota lot and told the salesman the first hint of high pressure I got, I was leaving. Ten minutes later I walked out. I won't deal with it because it pisses me off.
