"the great Oz behind the curtain"?
I think I'm being dissed, but I'm not quite sure I understand it. I'm not being mysterious. I've disclaimed several times that I can only try to evaluate these text files of unknown provenance at the general programming level.
We're dissecting notes rather than code, and something comes through at a personal level. I find myself feeling a spot of sympathy for that poor bastard, as he tries to sift through what's clearly a file system inherited from somebody else. There's plenty of room to question the competency of these people, but I don't get any whiff of conspiracy or deception.
