This New York Times story discusses incidents across a range of manufacturers with more details. Unfortunately, it seems to be focused on crashes, with only one statistic showing that Ford actually had more acceleration incidents (with or without crashes). Searching the NHTSA site looks like more trouble than it's worth.
Just as an aside, it's possible that hybrids or electrics, which have huge torque capacity when the electric motor is in the loop, may not respond to brakes as effectively as an internal combustion engine.
