Where in my post do I imply that only America, (or the Right, for that matter) is capable of imperialism? Are you unable to hold any conversation without automatically and reflexively accusing your opponent of leftist tendencies? You speak with forked tongue, white eyes.

What I am trying to drill into you and the Lees of this world is that we are no better than anyone else in that respect, and just as hypocritical when making excuses for it. The Mexicans have no more right to the Southwest than the Indians before them, or the Americans that followed. Ownership of territory is always established by violence, and only later determined by custom. Isn't that what St Heinlein taught us, that there are no natural rights, only those we earn and protect through struggle? That violence IS the ultimate solution to every problem (Starship Troopers, look it up)? And if you think history is going to stop just because of yanqui exceptionalism and jingoism you are heading for a very sobering lesson. Sooner or later, the Americans will be just another forgotten and absorbed tribe, like the Anasazi or the Folsom people.

The Americans are losing control of the Southwestern United States because they no longer can run it's agriculture and industry without plentiful cheap immigrant labor. Actually, they probably could, but they are not willing to do so for their own selfish reasons. And the best way to ensure that cheap labor supply is to make certain most of it is illegal, so that they will not be able to fight for higher wages and better working conditions.

Rome fell apart because it became too reliant on slavery, America will fall apart because it would rather pay foreigners than its own citizens to do its dirty work.
