Among the many things you apparently don't know about this issue was that the heavy employer sanctions were passed by Democratic Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano in late 2007. Her reason: that the Federal government wasn't doing the job of enforcement they ought to be. Sound familiar?
The law was challenged by businesses on the grounds that it was an unconstitutional effort by a state to regulate immigration. Does THAT sound familiar? Their challenge was overturned in court.
That law is the "half" of the current code, recently modified further by the current government of Arizona. So what's Napolitano doing and saying nowadays?
