Re: Another outburst like that...

No, what I'm really saying is that you have no idea what you're talking about, and no interest in replacing your own preconceptions with actual facts.
.

Point: The Arizona anti-hiring bill was authored by Republicans in Arizona back in 2007, and fought for by Republicans. The current Democratic Justice Department is currently trying to shoot it down.

Note this line:

^In a separate development, House Republicans are pressing Obama to consider stricter enforcement of immigration laws at workplaces as a way to increase the number of jobs available to those legally entitled to have them.^
.

Point: A quote from a letter written by Napolitano to Reid and Pelosi in 2007 explaining why they pass the anti-illegal-hiring law (you DO remember who was running the Congress back then, right?):

^"Last week, the Senate once again failed to take action on comprehensive immigration reform. One of the practical effects of this failure is that Arizona, and the states across the nation, must now continue to address this escalating problem on their own. For years now, Arizona has been faced to act independently to stem the flow of illegal immigration. The latest example is House Bill 2779, the Legal Arizona Act, which I signed into law today."^
.

Point: Here are some details on the businesses who attacked the law. Who are they targeting in the Arizona legislature? Are those "D's" by their names? Did the Republicans in Arizona act on basic principles or knuckle under to "the state's biggest donors to Republican candidates and causes?"
.

In short, your silly "Reps don't give a damn what happens as long as their businessmen pals are free to operate with impunity" premise is shot to hell.

For once, be a man and admit it.
