Policitical Practice
I've thought about a society where people are given personality tests to determine their best fits for jobs. (Not to force them to do it but to exclude those who are unfit to do them.) What if we had a college for politicians and the psychological testing was geared toward finding only those people with a genuine desire for public service and to do good, constructive work in governance for the good of the people, excluding the power gluttons, the selfish and the grandstanders?.
I ought to write a spec fic story or novella or even novel about it. What a fun undertaking that would be.
