For all the death and misery Stalin inflicted, he was but a man, and all men die. What would be worse is being under the boot of a totalitarian bureaucracy in which no one is really in charge. An all controlling system which plods along under its own momentum. A system where condescending do-gooders pass laws to "help" people and engineer society the way they think it should be. Laws full of thousands of pages of boiler plate that get passed without anyone even bothering to read them. A mass of overlapping departments and agencies that answer to no one but continuously beat the citizenry down with lair upon lair of endless rules and regulations. A system in which the enforcers are just following orders, but not sure who gave them. These are the things which worry us in the Tea Party movement.
IMO, this should be the anthem of the Tea Party.
::
We're not gonna take it::
No, we ain't gonna take it
We're not gonna take it anymore
We've got the right to choose and
There ain't no way we'll lose it
This is our life, this is our song
We'll fight the powers that be just
Don't pick our destiny 'cause
You don't know us, you don't belong
We're not gonna take it
No, we ain't gonna take it
We're not gonna take it anymore
You're so condescending
Your gall is never ending
We don't want nothin', not a thing from you
Your life is trite and jaded
Boring and confiscated
If that's your best, your best won't do
oh.....................
oh.....................
We're right, yeah!
We're free, yeah!
We'll fight, yeah!
You'll see, yeah!
We're not gonna take it
No, we ain't gonna take it
We're not gonna take it anymore
