This has always been the problem in these discussions. It's not "how you see it." It's what's true or not. You can't "parse" facts.
Make a rough list of the worst abuses of private corporations/companies through history. Then make a list of the worst abuses of governments. Tally the deaths, misery, loss of liberty, economic disaster, and damage to societies.
The evidence is out there for anyone to find. If I'm wrong, it should be easy enough to prove it.
