Elections do.
There is an entire liberal industry dedicated to slapping clay feet on the Founders ("Jefferson owned slaves!). Kind of like saying the most important concept about the New Deal was that FDR stacked the Supreme Court and put Japanese into internment camps because of their race.
Just another red herring to avoid the real issues:
- Government is too big and powerful
- Spending and taxes are way too high
- The Democratic Party is currently controlled by people who think that government isn't anywhere near big enough or powerful enough, and that spending and taxes are way too low.
