When you see a friend making a mistake it often evokes a long and passionate post. For me it is not worth it. I'll save my wind for convincing friends not to DUI, but I do consider you a friend who is defending this solely on the enemy of my enemy theory.
And, you are quite adept at long and passionate posts for your own reasons :)
