You don't need to weigh "heavily" on the middle class, but a tax system where nobody pays income taxes except the wealthy is unworkable, and only "fair" if you destroy the concept of "fair" entirely. We already nearly at that point, as you can see from the data I've been posting, and the Democrats want to push it even further that way. Nobody in any tax proposal I've seen is proposing hiking taxes on people who are actually poor. Sure as hell that isn't 47 percent of the country.
The end result of Democratic Party ideas is Greece, where government spending is out of control, and a vast population of wards of the state can no longer squeeze enough blood out of the rock and are rioting in the streets to demand huge benefits that long ago became impossible.

You're missing the point.

- Cain would benefit greatly from his 9-9-9 plan
- Interesting.
- I look at tax laws from a civil rights perspective.
- Re: Cain would benefit greatly from his 9-9-9 plan
- He scares me too Eri
- Note that his system taxes capital gains, just as normal income.
