Just the first of many forthcoming desperate red herrings dragged across the path to distract people from the attempted Democratic destruction of our health care system, energy industry, and free economic system in general.
Like I said, the media will be firing every weapon in their arsenal over the next two years, and I expect to see every last talking point parroted here. I notice you're already buying the historical rewrite in that NPR article.
Also look for the Democrats to attempt to destroy the filibuster, a Senate tradition that was highly beloved by the exact same Democratic leaders back when it worked in their favor.
