Re: $$

What I keep saying is that real, ongoing things that are going to cost us hundreds of billions are more important than hypothetical things that could cost tens of millions. Is this that hard to process?

This is of course assuming that $73 million number is even real, instead of being pulled out of some leftist hind end like most such numbers are. The headline number doesn't even agree with the one in the body of the article, and the article doesn't cite any source whatsoever.

An editorial sidebar: Bill Clinton was, and is, a skunk. At the time, furious liberals lambasted me for making such a big deal out of what they considered "minor" moral depravity which was not political, and which Clinton was "keeping separate" from his critical work as President. I pointed out at the time that if I saw the president of my bank shoplifting a candy bar from a 7-11, I'd change banks. An idiot might say "why make such a big deal out of a fifty-cent candy bar?" Someone capable of abstract thinking would understand that the issue was not the fifty-cent candy bar, but moral integrity.
