Obama has basically abdicated on real deficit reform, and left it to the Republicans to address real issues like entitlements, which MUST be addressed for real reform. He will then, predictably, use this to attack them in 2012.
Destroy the country's economy to keep power? Wouldn't be the first leader in history to do it.
