"Destroy the country's economy to keep power"
Yeah right, presidents get reelected when the economy is bad right? Read something outside your wingnut blogs and you might learn Obama is trying to solve the problem in a responsible way. Taking a scalpel to the budget, not an ax. Just because entitlements aren't on the table this year doesn't mean they won't get addressed. That's only going to happen when BOTH parties sit down in a responsible way and work out a solution. Not waiting for one party to act so the other can attack it.
By the way, it's the party out of the white house that benefits from a bad economy. Maybe that's why THIS is being proposed.
