So you think there might be a cost curve over ten years? In all fairness I probably made a mistake in calculating the first year at $100B but over ten years it could certainly be a $1T.
What is your problem with cutting this unnecessary spending? The Cold War has been over for 20 years. Leave a couple thousand troops in Europe as a tripwire in case someone steps out of line, but bring the boys home for gawd sake! Same with Japan. Korea is another story.
