The CBO declares that Obama's revenue proposals will increase the deficit by $2.2 trillion over the CBO baseline between 2012 and 2021. The baseline had a deficit accumulation over that time of $6.74 trillion. In other words, subtract all of Obama's tax relief, and we end up back at the CBO baseline. $6.74 trillion further in the hole instead of $9.47 trillion (the rest is interest). That's still three times the amount of Obama's entire tax relief program.
So, we just scrapped all that Obama tax relief the article was fretting about, and at the same time raised taxes on the rich and businesses. So where are you going to find $6.74 trillion more? What taxes are you going to raise now, Buck? The Democrats called a $6 billion cut "slashing." I don't think they're going to do much in the cutting department. That leaves taxes to make up about $674 billion a year. About $2,200 for every man, woman, and child in the U.S. So who pays?

It's dead, Buck.
