It's OK to not care about SOME things.
However, Jody, when you start thinking like that, think of me. I thought like that and now I'm paying the price. Heart disease costs are eating up my retirement funds. My health is so poor that I'm damn near housebound. I can't walk down to my own mailbox because I can't negotiate the curb without the risk of falling. That's the price you'll pay for that kind of thinking. Is that what you want? So many health problems they overwhelm you to the point where day by day you wonder when it will all end? And you no longer care. I was supposed to be spending my golden years writing. Now I hardly have the energy to do the thing I love most.
