The people that think the "Evil Axis" characterization of Iran is reckless, are just plain stupid.

For over twenty years the leaders and the people of Iran have been insulting the U.S. by calling us the great Satan and calling for Death to America. Did we ever do anything to deserve that? You bet we did. Do they deserve the insult from us? Damn right they do. We are engaging in diplomacy at their level.

Today is Iran's independence day. While some of the crowds are burning effigies and calling for our death, their leader made a very moderate speech calling for continued dialogue with the U.S. and did not mention "Evil Axis".

The Arabs are the kings of rhetoric. Why not deal with them in a like manner?

One of the sniveling, hand wringing officials of EU recently called for Europe to take a stance independent of the U.S. due to our outrageous position. That would be refreshing. Since when has Europe taken a stand on anything beyond propping up their sick economy by trading with countries that lust for their destruction. Take a stand? Go ahead Europe, "make my day". Maybe you will make a difference in the world that you haven't made in over 50 years. Send us home and solve the Balkan problems yourself. Clean up the mess that YOU made in Israel.
