''Actually, I think if you go back to when the violence began, you can make the case that in an attempt to shoot the moon and get nothing, more violence resulted.'' — White House press secretary Ari Fleischer, accusing former president Clinton of triggering violence in the Middle East. Fleischer later retracted the remarks.

How do you ever trust anything that comes out of an administration that has this guy as its' spokeperson? I mean, this is the guy who's hired to speak for them - he's as well versed in the party line as anyone. And they believe this.

And, in an area of the world where there has been unspeakable violence for thousands of years, he wants to blame Bill Clinton. Not GHWB, RR, JC, GF, RN, LBJ, JFK, DDE, etc. He goes out of his way to blame violence in the area on Bill Clinton.

I'm not saying they always lie, they are always misguided, they are always wrong. I've gotta say that it has to lead anyone with a mind of their own to distrust the thinking of the person and his bosses. And if it doesn't lead you to distrust it you don't think much for yourself.

Those people may not be stark, raving mad. They're something, though, and I'm sure it has a diagnosis. I don't think there's a treatment, but there's gotta be a diagnosis.
