Lockhart and his boss were no prize, and involved in despicable deception of all kinds. And two wrongs don't make a right.

I don't remember them blaming the violence in the Middle East on GHWB, or Reagan, or anyone else.

I don't remember them revealing thinking like that.

I think there's a big difference between being the defender of a slimy President and the thought processes which allow someone to not only think Clinton was the cause of Middle East violence and then to say it OUT LOUD in a PRESS CONFERENCE.

Breakdowns in understanding history, logic, and judgement all at once. That's what's scary. And to repeat, Clinton was a scumbag and his defenders were wrong.
